The “Send To” menu is quite useful, here’s how you would add additional programs to this menu
Send To Menu

Windows 8 is whole lot of a new and exciting fun for its users. You just require 2 steps to customize the send to menu in order to add more programs to it in Windows 8. For me, this is a great feature to immediately send any file or folder I like to my designated location or open it with a program.

If you want a file to open with WordPad, you can add it easily in the send to menu. Moreover, this trick has been tested and works on all versions of Windows including 7, Xp, Vista, and 8.

Type shell:sendto and press Enter

2. Step You would now be directly taken to the Send To menu option in Windows Explorer from where you can copy paste any program you wish to add to the menu. I have copied  the shortcut of Skype into the folder but you can virtually copy/paste any program that you like.
