Notepad++ Keep file in editor: Suppress Warnings, Update Silently

Notepad++ is a great text editor and everyone who hasn’t used it yet should upgrade immediately

Suppress Warnings

One of the features of notepad++ is to auto-notify you when a file changes. While this can be handy, it can be extremely annoying when you have opened hundreds of files simultaneously!

Let’s disable it:

1. Step Open Notepad++
2. Step On the top there is a bar, click on Settings
3. Step

4. Step Either uncheck Enable or check the box “Update silently” and Notepad++ will no longer bug you and still auto-refresh files. I chose to disable it completely
