1. Step The Windows 8 registry is in the same location as it was in Windows 8.
Go to C:\Windows\ and open regedit.exe
You will also find the registry editor in C:\Windows\System32\regedt32
If you want to quickly access this registry editor, pin it to the Start menu and restore the old Windows 7 Start menu
