Do you want some handy shortcuts for the most important Windows 7 tools? If so, here is a list of some very handy shortcuts.

Pro-Tip: Using shortcuts like winver.exe or msinfo32.exe in combination with Autohotkey is a powerful tool – you can customize Windows 7 or open frequently accessed tools with one key combination

Built-in Windows 7 System Tools Paths

You can start any of the following programs by entering the .exe or cpl name of the program into the search field on your Start menu.

Example: Enter winver.exe, wscui.cpl, appwiz.cpl

For example if you want to know your Windows version you simply enter winver.exe. System tools that are executables (.exe) don’t require the extension, but .cpl programs require it. You can enter winver, but you can’t enter appwiz to launch the system tool.
