The Ribbon UI
I very much like the idea of the Ribbon UI and implementing it into the Windows 8 Explorer only makes sense to me. So far, a lot of people are criticizing the Ribbon UI, however I urge you to remember that all of this (if it is not fake) is work in progress.
However, I agree that the new Ribbon UI should not be filled with to many items and should be highly customizable. Sometimes less is more. I’d rather only have a few items on it and add items myself!
