Makes me wonder, does a lefty want things on the left or on the right?
For me as a righty I won’t get used to it, I simply need my caption buttons (close/restore/minimize) on the RIGHT side. Sometimes, I wish I’d be ambidextrous, then I could give my right hand a break ;)
Anyway, if you can get used to it or if you are in fact one of the 7-10% who are lefties, then you might appreciate this little app.
After launching the program it will automatically move the caption buttons to the left. However, this will not work for all windows (or at least I haven’t figured out how to do it), so you will end up with some on the left and some of the right.
If anyone wants a program that will change all caption buttons, let me know and I will work on it.
I’m very interested in a program that moves _all_ caption buttons to the left; I use Ubuntu for persoal use and Windows at work and I can’t stand the Windows buttons on the right! I like the idea of LeftSider but, as you said, it only works on some Windows (seems to be just Windows Explorer and other apps that are part of Windows itself).
I’ll be looking into this again. If I can’t seem to find a program that moves ALL caption buttons, I’ll try to make one.
I would so VERY much appreciate a program that would move all captions buttons to the left! Very, VERY much.

@Yuuki If you want to move them back to the right you probably only have to close the program, at least that’s how it worked for me.
